Where we host

Videco is hosted in the European Union. Your account data and uploaded content are stored on infrastructure located in the EU.

Information we collect

When you create or use a Videco account, we may collect:

• Account details such as your name, email address, and password
• Billing information needed to process payments for paid plans
• Content you upload, including videos and related metadata you choose to store
• Basic service logs and usage metrics from the dashboard and API (for example storage used, uploads, and API activity tied to your account)
• Technical details needed to keep the service secure and reliable, such as IP address and browser type when you sign in or manage your account

Video playback and viewers

When someone plays a video through Videco, we do not collect or share personal data about that viewer for advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking. Playback is delivered so the video can start and stream. We do not sell viewer data, and we do not pass viewer personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Account holders may see high-level playback and bandwidth statistics in their dashboard (such as play counts). Those metrics are for operating and understanding their own content. They are not used to identify individual viewers for marketing.

How we use information

We use account and service data to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Videco
• Authenticate users and protect accounts
• Process payments and send billing-related messages
• Respond to support requests
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues
• Meet legal obligations when required

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us run Videco (for example payment processing or email delivery), only as needed to provide the service and under appropriate agreements.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ZapDigits, our users, or others.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for signing in, keeping your session secure, and remembering basic preferences in the dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies to track people across the web when they watch your videos.

Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Retention of uploaded videos follows your plan limits. If you delete content or close your account, we remove or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep something longer for legal or security reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@zapdigits.com.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data and uploaded content. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Children's privacy

Videco is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Videco after an update means you accept the revised policy.
